Rail Medicals
Rail Safety Workers Medical Assessments play a critical role in ensuring that all rail workers can perform their job functions without posing a risk to themselves, their colleagues, or the public. These assessments are specifically designed to evaluate a range of vital health indicators and determine whether a worker is fit to carry out their duties safely. This includes assessing the worker’s ability to hear instructions and remain aware of their surroundings whilst operating in the rail corridor.
It is essential that these medical assessments are carried out in accordance with the National Standard for Health Assessment of Rail Safety Workers. As such, they must be conducted by an Authorised Health Professional who is fully qualified and experienced in performing these types of evaluations. By ensuring that rail safety workers undergo regular medical assessments, we can minimise the risk of accidents and ensure the continued safety of your team.
Cat 1 Rail Medical
Includes: Medical History, Vision, Audiometry, Musculoskeletal, ECG, Fasting Lipid Proile & Fasting Blood Glucose (Blood tests) reviewed by accredited Rail Doctor via Telehealth, completed on Legislative paperwork.
Cat 2 Rail Medical
Includes: Medical History, Vision, Audiometry & Musculoskeletal, reviewed by accredited Rail Doctor via Telehealth, completed on Legislative paperwork.
Cat 3 Rail Medical
Includes: Medical History, Medical Examination, Vision, Audiometry & Musculoskeletal, completed by accredited Rail Doctor on Legislative paperwork.
BHP Cat 1 Rail Medical
Includes: Medical History, Vision, Audiometry, Musculoskeletal, ECG, Fasting Lipid Proile & Fasting Blood Glucose (Blood tests), BHP Functional, reviewed by accredited Rail Doctor via Telehealth, completed on Legislative paperwork.
BHP Cat 2 Rail Medical
Includes: Medical History, Vision, Audiometry & Musculoskeletal, BHP Functional, reviewed by accredited Rail Doctor via Telehealth, completed on Legislative paperwork.
BHP Cat 3 Rail Medical
